Jack is one of Nairobi’s top DJ’s and a radio presenter. In Nairobi, it’s all a bit DIY and artists often make their own promo material, hence the need for a shoot. I’d snapped Jack a few times at gigs.
Before the shoot Jack wanted to pick up a jacket but we ended up shooting in the tailors workshop, because the light was so perfect. Styling was done by the tailors apprentice. These were the last shots of the afternoon.
